DIRECTOR - Mario von Appen

While studying Computer Science at the University of Essen , Germany, Mario represented Germany for 13 years in Kayaking( Sprint Canoeing), gaining 7 world championship medals with the pinnacle being his Olympic Gold in Barcelona 1992 in the K4 1000m. He imigrated to Australia in 1996 and worked for Infinity Technology in Qld. He managed one of Infinity's IT Departments in Perth/Joondalup and was then tranferred to Sydney in 2000, where he was in senior IT management by a large software vendor. Always having a desire to create his own company, the opportunity arose in 2002. Having been encouraged by business associates Mario von Appen began Central IT Solutions.
